SK Drainage Solutions Ltd (or SKiDS as the staff call it) was formed in May 2018 by Kevin Hughes and Lucy Wilson. Kevin was a supervisor at the Cumbria office of a national drainage franchise. Lucy was responsible for the administration.

The franchise was terminated in October 2018 and SKDS went live on the 1st November 2018 offering a more personal and professional service in Drain Care and Repair.

The staff at SKDS have over 20 years of drainage experience ranging from emergency call outs to restore flow to blocked facilities to the installation of the most recent UV drain liners via the Sewertronics Speedylight system. In addition, they can excavate, install “patch” liners, clean gutters, survey and trace all types of drainage with up-to-date I-Touch WRC approved equipment. They can also supply and install sewage treatment plants, soakaways and septic tanks.

SKDS became accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in November 2018. We’re a member of Safe Contractor scheme and Checkatrade verified.
