WJA 39th AGM, CONFERENCE, DINNER, GOLF / SHOOTING DAY 2019

This is the Formal Notice and Invitation for Members to attend the WJA 39th Annual General Meeting which will take place immediately prior the Conference on Friday 17th May 2019 commencing at approximately 9.30am.

The venue this year is The Rockcliffe Hall, Darlington, Co Durham (www.rockcliffehall.com) it offers exceptional facilities including, golf course, luxurious health spas and excellent restaurants. Once again the WJA will be subsidising the event and the only cost to members will be for their accommodation.

The WJA has taken advantage of the golf facilities, by arranging the usual Round of Golf on Thursday 16 May – Prizes will include Best Round, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. We will also be offering Clay Shooting for those wishing to try something different. Please note that bookings are accepted on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS and are subject to attending the Conference on Friday 17 May 2018.

The WJA Conference on Friday 17th May will cover a wide range of topics and there will be several opportunities to meet the speakers throughout the day – the full programme will be announced shortly.

The Partner / Guest Programme on Friday will be either a visit or a day in the spa, the choice is yours – exact details to be confirmed at a later date.The Annual Dinner will take place on Friday evening commencing with the President’s Champagne Reception at 7.30pm with dinner served at 8.00pm.

Our After Dinner Entertainment and returning by popular demand is Dominic Holland who has appeared on the Royal Variety Show and is regularly on TV in programmes such as ‘Have I got News for You’ and ‘Never mind the Buzzcocks’ (Spidermans Dad!).
