WJA Trade Show 2024 – Exciting kit on show

A magnetic crawler, a Hotblast 500 and a jet buggy – not gizmos Q would supply to James Bond, but three of the items of water jetting equipment that will be on display at WJA Trade Show 2024.

This is Part 2 of our guide to the specialist vehicles, water jetting pumps, robots, guns and nozzles visitors will have the opportunity to see when they attend the exhibition.

WJA Trade Show 2024, the Water Jetting Association’s first national trade exhibition, takes place on Thursday 12th September at StoneX Stadium in North West London, the home of Saracens Rugby Club.

WJA Trade Show 2024 is FREE to attend and there is FREE on-site parking.

Flowplant

Flowplant is one of the trade show’s four sponsors and will be displaying the jet buggy, sorry Mr Bond you can’t have one, which can be supplied powered by main electricity, as well as diesel or petrol motors.

The pump unit achieves a maximum pressure of up to 1,100 bar and is suitable for a wide range of water blasting tasks. It can be supplied with fork pockets or wheels, as well as ATEX certification.

The Flowplant team will also have on show one of their Harben pumps, which are renowned for their exceptional performance in high pressure applications.

For visitors interested in drainage applications, they will have a DTX Trailer Jetter on their stand. It can be used to jet drains up to 300mm in diameter, delivering up to 280 bar and 54 l/m (12 gpm).

Powerjet

Exhibitor Powerjet will be showcasing a magnetic robotic crawler jetter available in its water jet equipment rental fleet. Electrically driven, it is suitable for multiple uses on flat and slightly curved steel surfaces.

Powerjet will also be displaying a bareshaft pump with a gear drive and a wide range of accessories and tooling equipment, including a lance gun, a foot control valve, and both tube cleaning and surface preparation nozzles.

Doornbos

Like Flowplant, Doornbos is a sponsor of WJA Trade Show 2024 and will be displaying a range of larger equipment and specialist vehicles as one of six exhibitors with outside stands.

As well as showing off some excellent water jetting units, the Doornbos team will also be featuring vacuumation machines, including a trailer-mounted SmartVac diesel vacuum hopper, with a capacity of 2200 m3/hr and a 250 litre cyclone.

The Cyclovac Pro is a vacuumation lorry available for sale or on the company’s rental fleet. It has an air displacement system with a cyclone separator for tough industrial applications, including lifting heavy sludges.

In terms of water jetting, Doornbos is showing off the WOMA MK3, a powerful water jetting trailer unit used for high and ultra-high applications, with a maximum pressure of 2800 bar.

For industrial cleaning visitors there is the new HotBlast 500, a Stage 5 diesel hot water pressure washer built by Doornbos. It has a maximum pressure of 500 bar and delivers water at 950C with a flow rate of 30 lpm.

Sabre Jetting

Water jetting contractor Sabre Jetting also has an outside stand – and will be showing off one of its ultra-high pressure (UHP) pump and tanker units. The specialist vehicle is used to support a range of jetting tasks, including hydrodemolition and surface preparation.

Sabre Jetting is kept busy by construction contractors supporting tasks that include bearing removal from highway bridges and preparing concrete surfaces during building refurbishment projects.

Its exhibition team will also be displaying a Siltbuster water filtration unit, used to clean jetting water ready for discharge, and a variety of UHP surface preparation jetting heads.

Superjet

Another exhibitor with an outside stand is Superjet. Its team will be displaying the popular Superjet 120 Sprint Trailer Jetter. It is a high pressure water jetting machine packed with technology to boost jetting safety and productivity.

The trailer jetter can deliver working pressures ranging from 150 bar (85 lpm) to 500 bar (24 lpm). Lightweight and very compact, the Superjet 120 Sprint is ideal for a range of tasks, including surface cleaning and duct desilting.

Superjet is also showing off its VP35P petrol van pack. The company will show how it can offer a huge range of bespoke options, tailoring the jetting system to a customer’s precise needs.

StoneAge

Water jetting tools manufacturer StoneAge will be displaying a range of rotary waterblast tools and sewer jetting tools. Its team will also be displaying the company’s latest Sentinel system for fully autonomous heat exchanger cleaning and data recording, plus details of the rental equipment and training courses it offers.
