The Water Jetting Association (WJA) is a trade association representing contractors, manufacturers, hirers and other organisations that have a professional and commercial interest in all aspects of high-pressure water jetting.
WJA support the highest possible safety and technical standards for all forms of water jetting, including ultra-high-pressure water jetting, high pressure water jetting, pressure washing, and drain and sewer cleaning.
WJA are also committed to furthering our members’ interests – in terms of commercial opportunities, brand association, technical advice and high-pressure water jetting training.
Join The WJAWater Jetting Codes of Practice
We have developed two detailed Codes of Practice for water jetting – the ‘Blue Code’ for high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water jetting, and the ‘Red Code’ for use of water jetting in drains and sewers.
Both Codes of Practice are ISBN-designated. They have been developed, and are regularly updated, with the assistance of industry stakeholders and support from the UK’s Health and Safety Executive.
The Codes of Practice are recognised as setting important industry standards for high-pressure water jetting in the UK and internationally. They also represent a valuable tool for members seeking to deliver safe, productive and reputable water jetting services.
