This is the Formal Notice and Invitation for Members to attend the WJA 38th Annual General Meeting which will take place prior to the Conference on Friday 18th May 2018 commencing at 9.30am.
The venue will be the Belton Woods Hotel, Belton, Nr Grantham, Lincs NG32 2LN (www.qhotels.co.uk/our-locations/belton-woods/) offering exceptional facilities and once again the WJA will be subsidising the event and the only cost to members will be for their accommodation.
The WJA has taken advantage of the golf facilities, by arranging the usual Round of Golf on Thursday 17 May – Prizes will include Best Round, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. We will also be offering Clay Shooting for those wishing to try something different. Please note that bookings are accepted on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS and are subject to attending the Conference on Friday 18 May 2018.
The Conference will be held in The Major Oak Suite on Friday 18 May covering a wide range of topics and there will be several opportunities to meet the speakers throughout the day.
The Partner / Guest Programme on Friday 18th May is either a day of leisure in the ‘Spa’ or a private visit (To be confirmed) – the choice is yours.
The President‘s Reception will commence at 7.30pm in The Oak Lounge followed by the Gala Dinner in the Major Oak Suite at 8.00pm (Black Tie) including After Dinner entertainment (To be confirmed) with the evening finally ending with the ‘ubiquitous’ Prize Draw.
For now please put the dates in your diary – the full programme will be finalised in January 2018.
