Flowline Ltd (WJA Member) – Expanding Portfolio
Flowline’s highway drainage portfolio expanding with Kier
Flowline has been awarded two significant contracts by Kier to deliver highway drainage maintenance and repairs in the counties of Surrey and Northamptonshire. The contracts are for terms of 4 and 3 years respectively.
These wins assert Flowline’s continuing expansion in the highway drainage services market. Both contracts started on 1 April 2017 and provide annual cyclic gully cleaning service, supported by a reactive maintenance and improvement service.
Flowline are delighted to have been given the opportunity to demonstrate their approach to optimising maintenance and reducing the whole life cost, whilst increasing asset knowledge, using their chosen asset management system, KaarbonTech. The operation is also aided by the use of their FieldViewer works management system, providing real-time remote auditing and works management.
Flowline’s approach brings transparency to the drainage service and helps client and contracting teams to collaborate in a spirit of mutual trust and co-operation to deliver an excellent service to the end user. Given the increasing pressure on costs, their aim is to drive out unnecessary activity, whilst improving customer service.
Flowline’s managing director, Matthew Rowlatt, said “The opportunity to work with progressive clients such as Surrey and Northamptonshire County Councils, whilst also cementing our rewarding relationship with Kier, enabling us to introduce better ways of working, is really exciting for us.”
