WJA Creates Free Covid-19 Prevention Advice Poster
The Water Jetting Association is making available for free download a poster that makes clear the vital importance of social distancing and workplace protection measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The information can be downloaded as an A4 or A3 poster to share with work colleagues or display in workplaces to support infection control plans.
The WJA is also making available an email footer graphic that people can upload to allow others to easily access the information sheets during the pandemic.
From July 1st 2020, the WJA has approved the resumption of water jetting training if training facilities are Covid-19 secure and detailed procedures to protect delegates and training instructors are followed.
WJA guidance on how training must be carried out includes risk assessment, pre-training checks, social distancing measures and maintaining a Covid-19 secure training environment.
WJA Director David Kennedy said: “Social distancing remains one of the most important measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, so it is important we remind ourselves of the reasons why it has to be done.
“Studies have shown that by maintaining social distancing we are helping to save lives whether that be in the workplace or in the community so there is no room for complacency.”
The WJA brings together statistics about the impact of social distancing on the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) with simple ‘stay safe’ workplace measures to protect individuals and others against the virus.
To use the social distancing email footer shown below, simply click on the ‘Copy signature’ button, go to your email signature box and click paste. The email footer will appear in the signature box. The footer can be used in conjunction with your current signature. Just make sure it sits below your standard signature in the box.
