Interest in Water Jetting Association’s first water jetting trade show continues to grow, prompting plans for new ways to participate in the event.

New stand space is being created by changing the proposed layout of the show and an additional main sponsor opportunity is being offered.

The WJA – the member body for the water jetting industry – is holding the show on Thursday 12th September, 2024, at the StoneX Stadium, home of the Saracens Rugby Club, in North West London.

Well supported

WJA General Manager Leanne Smith said: “We’re very pleased with the amount of interest in the trade show that’s already been generated.

“Companies and organisations involved in the water jetting industry see the advantages of gathering together like this to share expertise and experiences.

“We’re confident our water jetting trade show will be well supported, so we’re further developing our plans to ensure exhibitors and visitors get the most out of attending the event.”

With three show sponsorship slots quickly snapped up, the WJA has created a fourth sponsorship opportunity.

Showcase services

Stands have already been booked for the trade show, which is still eight months away. To optimise visibility for all exhibitors, a new layout is being considered with the venue.

The aim is to create opportunities for larger equipment displays to be set up inside the StoneX venue to complement the outdoor space already allocated for specialist vehicles and machines.

The trade show is part of a wider WJA strategy to engage with industry stakeholders, provide opportunities to showcase member services, and promote water jetting safety and technical excellence.

It will be held in the StoneX Stadium’s Olympic Stand on the day after the WJA Annual General Meeting which is being held at the same venue.

WJA members include water jetting contractors, manufacturers, training providers, equipment hire specialists and water jetting service users.

Industry vitality

The trade show will be an opportunity for companies involved in water jetting to showcase their products and services – and for other businesses to market themselves to the water jetting industry.

Lee O’Callaghan, a member of the WJA’s Training and Safety Committee, and director of a WJA registered training provider, has a key role in organising the trade show.

He said: “All things point to the show being very strongly supported. It’s an event that’s time clearly has come.

“Water jetting is maturing as an industry. It’s becoming essential across many sectors, including construction, cleaning, oil and gas exploration, petrochemicals and demolition.

“We want to see this vitality reflected in the number and variety of exhibitors and in the many visitors we expect to attract to the event.”
